Isaac graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies, and after a career in real estate finance and management, Mr. Maing earned a Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School. While in Law School, Isaac externed for the United States Trustee’s Office and for a federal bankruptcy judge for Central District of California. Isaac also interned in Mexico City for a joint project between a Mexican law firm and White & Case LLP.
After graduating from law school, Isaac gained experience as an applicant workers' compensation attorney, a plaintiff's employment law attorney, and a claimant's social security attorney. He has also represented insurance carriers, third party administrators and professional sports teams in workers’ compensation cases as a defense attorney. Isaac’s background provides a unique vantage point to analyze cases, allowing him to effectively resolve cases in an efficient manner. In addition, Isaac has consulted for many companies in all areas, including but not limited to, international employment, buy-sell, leasing, exclusive distributor, and purchase and sale agreements, and formation of international entities.
Isaac is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Federal Bar of the Central District of California, and the Northern District of California. Isaac also provides pro bono services representing families with special needs children and involved with the local parent teacher association.
Isaac is fluent in Spanish (having lived for over 10 years in Mexico, Colombia and Panama) and conversational in Korean.
