Vy Tran earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, before receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
While pursuing her law degree, Vy received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her achievement in Wills & Trusts and the Academic Excellence Award in Personal Property.
Vy has practiced immigration law for more than twenty years, representing individuals and families in a variety of immigration matters. Her practice was focused on family-based immigration, naturalization and citizenship, asylum, humanitarian relief, and removal defense. She has guided clients through the immigration process with a focus on providing thoughtful advice and effective representation.
Prior to joining the firm, Vy was a founding partner of Tran & Dang, where she represented clients in immigration matters throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Vy is able to assist Vietnamese-speaking clients and provide guidance in their preferred language throughout the legal process.
Vy is committed to pro bono service and has volunteered with organizations such as the Asian Law Alliance, providing immigration legal assistance and representing clients in immigration proceedings.
