Samantha Sales grew up in the Los Angeles Area and received her Juris Doctor degree, with a High Tech Law: Corporate Specialization Certificate, from Santa Clara University School of Law. While pursuing her law degree, Samantha co-founded the Filipino American Law Society and was the twice elected Co-President , while also holding board positions with the Law & Business Society and the Women & Law Society. Prior to law school, Samantha received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, from the University of San Francisco.
Prior to joining Garcia & Sahni, Samantha previously served on the legal team for Bay Area SaaS Company, Wrike, Inc. Samantha took lead on ensuring that the company, its vendors, and its customers were compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation in 2018. Samantha also participated in the Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic where she worked closely with local startup companies and entrepreneurs on transactional matters such as business entity formation, financing, operational contracts, and intellectual property licensing.
Samantha interned at the Family Justice Center of the Santa Clara Superior Court. Through this internship, she had the unique experience of viewing and understanding the complex issues in family law matters from the perspective of the Court. From this experience, Samantha ultimately made the decision to pursue the practices of business and estate planning law.
Samantha participated in free legal clinics with Bay Area Legal Aid, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC), and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA) to serve the Asian-American communities in the Bay Area.
Samantha is conversational in Tagalog.
